Blaume’s excess air is a wonderfully lively EP. It is music that has the
energy to stretch far beyond a simple and obvious starting point, and with
just a few simple devices, Blaume’s debut is a welcome harbinger of
spring.

The incredibly wide range of sounds emitted by Zöschg’s voice was complemented by muffled violins, guitar preparations and synthesizers, interspersed here and there with the sound of a sole shuffling or the rolling of a metal lid from something. Everything synergistically permeated the entire space, it moved closer and further away, creating a kind of fantastically simulated natural temple pulsating with the animality of unknown creatures. Breathtaking.
